USER MANUAL: ACOUSTIC POD

1. Intended Use and Operation

• Application: The pod is intended exclusively for indoor use, e.g., in educational institutions (schools, preschools), libraries, counseling centers, and designated quiet zones.

• User Limit: A maximum of 4 people may be inside the pod at the same time. Exceeding this limit may affect user comfort and overload the seat structure.

• Mobility: The pod is equipped with 4 castors with brakes.

  • Before moving the furniture, ensure that all brakes are released and the power cord is unplugged from the mains socket.

  • Once the pod is placed in its destination, the brakes must be securely locked to prevent the structure from accidentally shifting during use.

2. Power Connection and Electrical Safety

• The pod requires a connection to a standard 230V electrical network.

• Inside the structure, there is a power socket and USB-A and USB-C ports, designed for charging mobile devices and laptops.

• Do not plug high-power devices (e.g., space heaters, electric kettles) into the internal socket.

• Protect all electrical components, LED lighting, and the ventilation system from contact with liquids.

3. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Structure and Glazing (birch plywood, solid polycarbonate): Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild detergents intended for wooden surfaces or plastics. Avoid aggressive chemicals, alcohol, and abrasive substances that could scratch the polycarbonate or damage the lacquer finish.

• Interior Walls and Seats (felt, Velvet upholstery): Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment. In case of stains, spot-clean using cleaning agents designed for velvet fabrics and felt, taking care not to oversaturate the material.

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS

1. Warranty Period and Scope

• The Guarantor grants a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase (or in accordance with the commercial agreement) on the proper functioning of the furniture structure, upholstered elements, and electrical systems (LED lighting, ventilation, USB ports).

• The warranty covers hidden defects resulting from causes inherent in the product (manufacturing defects in materials or manufacturer's assembly errors).

2. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Mechanical damage (cracks in polycarbonate, scratches on plywood, tears in fabric) resulting from improper use, acts of vandalism, or overloading the furniture.

• Damage caused by moving the pod while the castor brakes are locked.

• Flooding, moisture damage, or outdoor use of the pod.

• Natural wear and tear of materials (e.g., pilling of felt, slight settling of seat foam, natural changes in wood tone).

• Unauthorized structural modifications or independent repairs to the electrical installation.
